Yesterday was Mother’s Day and this weekend…I DID NOT cook ONE MEAL at all!! So, that means that my kids don’t have any left overs for MONDAY school lunch. I decided to throw in these turkey meatball in a crockpot and thats their lunch for tomorrow. Over the weekend I went to Panera Bread and picked up this tomato basil loaf of bread…the bread is DEVINE!! I will serve the turkey meatball with these for their school lunch on MONDAY. You can get EVERYTHING from Trader Joe’s.
INGREDIENTS:
2 bag of turkey meatball
1 jar pepper jelly
2 cups of KETCHUP
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
GARNISH:
chopped green onions
DIRECTIONS:
In a crock pot…empty the 2 bag of turkey meatball, 1 jar pepper jelly, 2 cup ketchup, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Place the lid on and set the crock pot to 2 hours on low. These meatball is already cook so basically you just want to warm it through with the sauce. Then let it hit the warming setting until you are ready in the morning to fill those thermos. The meatball is so savory…and yummy. I used the turkey meatball this time but I have also used those MINI party meatball from Trader Joe’s too. Trader Joe’s was serving up these one time…but they didn’t add any of the seasonings….we LOVE GARLIC in our house…so I added some garlic powder and black pepper. I also garnish it with CHOPPED GREEN ONIONS.
