We have been trying to eat and drink a little healthier this summer. Every morning we make some kind of smoothies. I would buy the FROZEN mango and other fruits from Trader Joes (freezer section). My smoothies are basically the same basic ingredients. I only change up my fruits or veggies that I add to them. You are welcome to use low fat milk or plain low fat yogurt…we just use what we always have on hand.

Smoothies are a GREAT pick-me-up in the morning and also refreshing for afternoon snack or a dessert after  lunch or dinner.

Mango Smoothies Ingredients:
1 cup frozen mango
1 whole kiwi
1/2 cup banana
1 teaspoon chia seeds
3/4 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon honey
1/2 cup ice


In a blender..mix all the ingredients together. Blend until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
