We all LOVE chocolate chip cookies in my house…but with the busy schedule lately…I haven’t had time to make any. My husband was having a PARTY this weekend for his staff so I decided to make some. I actually double my batch so we can have EXTRA for the kids to eat as an ICE CREAM SANDWICH!! My kids LOVE ice cream and what is even BETTER than HAVING some with a  CHEWY chocolate chip cookies. It taste DELICIOUS when you put the cookies in the freezer!!

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
3 Cups GRAND Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (frozen)

DIRECTION

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Layer each baking pan with some parchment paper. Set ASIDE.

Mix together sugars, egg and vanilla until light in color, about 1-2 minute.

Add MELTED butter.

Mix until light in color and fluffy. About 2-3 minute.

Add flour, salt and  baking soda until combined.

Add chocolate chip and stir until combined.

Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough onto the PREPARED cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

When COOKIE is slightly COOL transfer to wire rack.

We like to freeze our extra cookies in an AIRTIGHT container. You WANT to lay them in such a way that they don’t break. They ARE delicious FROZEN with a scoop of VANILLA or MINT CHOCOLATE ice cream between them for a yummy ice cream sandwich treat! ENJOY!!!
