Green beans is a STAPLE in our house. I make it at least 2 times a week. I make these GARLIC GREEN BEANS at least once a week. My kids LOVE to eat it by itself!!! My lil gal can sit there and munch on these all day long. They are the easiest to make. I usually BLANCH my green beans then I saute it with garlic and oil. BUT…when I don’t have any fresh ones…I usually get the FROZEN ones from Trader Joe’s.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb green beans (wash and trimmed)
1 tablespoon MINCED GARLIC
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon seasoning sauce
2 tablespoon olive oil
DIRECTION
After I blanch the green beans and shock them…I set them aside. In a large skillet with some olive oil…add in the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute then add in the blanch green beans and season with green beans with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Next, add in the SEASONING SAUCE and TOSS for a minute or 2. Take off heat and SERVE. Since the green beans already blanch…it only takes a few minutes to saute.
***You can also use FROZEN green beans. If you are using frozen green beans…add everything to the PAN after you ADD the OIL to the HOT pan.

FROZEN green beans…toss everything in after the you add the OIL to the panĀ

Toss with the all the seasoning and MINCED GARLIC

Add in the 2 tablespoon of seasoning sauce

DONE in less than 10 minutes. Season according to taste.
