My family is DEFINITELY a BREAKFAST/BRUNCH kind of FAMILY!! We can eat breakfast food anytime of the DAY!! I always have breakfast food in my refrigerator. You can always FIND eggs and bacon for sure!!! I love having a mixture of sweet and salty items for BREAKFAST. I have to say that our of all the sweets..FRENCH TOAST is always my first choice before PANCAKE or WAFFLES.
6 pieces of THICK CUT brioche
2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash of salt
***butter to cook or you can use any oil you like
Beat together the ALL THE INGREDIENTS in a deep dish. *** I used a piece dish**
Heat a lightly oil/butter griddle or skillet over MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT.
Dunk each slice of BRIOCHE into the egg/milk mixture, leave it soaking for a little bit on BOTH SIDES since each slice of BRIOCE is a little THICK. Place the soak BRIOCHE in the grease pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each sides until GOLDEN BROWN. SERVE HOT with sliced strawberries, powder sugar, sliced banana, whip cream or maple syrup. ENJOY!!!
