Once I discover cooking BACON in the oven..I have never COOKED it again on the stovetop, This is the absolute BEST and EASIEST way to cook bacon. Plus, you won’t get all the grease popping on you or having to RE-CLEAN the stove. Cooking bacon in the oven will take you less than 1 minute to CLEAN up!! Just take the foil/parchment paper and TOSS!!! Plus…all the bacon comes OUT STRAIGHT and not CURLING all over that place. HA!! I am telling you…if you haven’t cooked the bacon in the oven before…TRY it!! Its LIFE CHANGING!!!

1 lb. bacon (I like the thick cut)
heavy duty tin foil or parchment paper
rack (optional)
rimmed baking sheet


Prepare a rimmed baking sheet by lining it with a sheet of heavy-duty tin foil or a piece of parchment paper.

Place the bacon on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure to not overlap them.

I did NOT preheat the oven to 400 degree..once I stuck the baking pan in..I turned on the oven to 400 degree.

Place the baking sheet into the oven and turn oven to 400 degrees F.

Bake for 20 minutes, being sure to check at the 10-minute mark to see how it’s doing. I checked every 3 minutes after that until it was golden and then removed it from the oven. The bacon can go from being perfectly done to burnt in a very short time, so it’s important to keep your eye on it after that 10-minute mark to make sure it’d done to your desired doneness.

Remove bacon from the oven and place on a plate lined with paper towels before serving. Serve IMMEDIATELY while its hot and yummy.

done to perfection. If you like it a little crispier…let it bake for another 1-2minute.don’t bake any longer because it will be really crisp and have that burnt taste. Because even after you take it out the is still cooking.



I used a rim baking sheet so that the grease doesn’t run over the side of the baking pan and makes a huge mess. Also line the baking pan with foil or parchment paper so that its a QUICK and easy CLEAN UP.
