When I was in college…I remember EVERY week when I grocery shop…I would ALWAYS BUY a 5lb bag of LEG QUARTERS. Back in those college days…a huge bag would cost me under $5.00 and I can eat it the whole week. I would usually buy those can of green beans….that was my staple back then. I remember every weekend…after I went grocery shopping…I would separate 3 leg quarters in a bag and season it…every night…I would stick 3 leg quarters in a pan and cook it…some days..it was just garlic powder, a dash of sugar, pepper and season salt. I would make 3 because…1 for dinner that night…1 for late night snack (since I stayed up pretty late to study) then another for lunch the next day. Then for dinner …the next day…it WOULD repeat again hahaha. I would season it differently every night….cant believe how I didn’t get tired of eating chicken every SINGLE night…guess its because I couldn’t afford STEAK haha
